Since 1986 the Historic Preservation Education Foundation has organized and participated in over fifty educational and training initiatives including large, international conferences and expositions on historic interiors, historic rehabilitation tax incentives, recent past architecture, and building codes, classroom workshops on windows, and lecture series on the architecture of the White House. The publication of conference handbooks, proceedings, articles, and papers have often accompanied these events. They include conference papers, material science studies, and training guides that are often unavailable elsewhere.

Most HPEF publications are now available as free pdf downloads. Print versions of select publications are available for purchase. See the individual publication pages for links and additional information.
